I’ve been watching videos on animal suffering for decades, and to be honest, as of late I can only watch a few seconds of footage before I have to turn my head away. When I was a teenager, I would view any video I could get my hands on in order to better understand how people could so callously torture animals for food, product testing and entertainment. It was painful to watch and feel helpless, but I reasoned that if the animals were suffering so horribly in silence, far beyond the public’s view, then the very least I could do was to view the films, take note and share. I thought, and still believe, the more I learn, the better I can pass along their story to others with hope of creating awareness and ultimately an end to their living hell.
If you have any friends or family who are still unconvinced that animals are being needlessly tortured for food, antiquated testing and entertainment, by the hands and devices of humankind, please share the following website with them: Behind Closed Doors Watching these videos is one small gesture of love and respect we can give to those who are suffering without a voice, all alone, right now as you read this. Please join me in sharing their story.
