Zoya’s Beach Collection (it’s vegan!) and how to win 3 mini bottles of nail polish for free!

A couple weeks ago I wrote about Zoya’s Surf Collection, and today I thought I’d let you know about Zoya’s Beach Collection, thanks to Zoya sending me a few bottles to “review.” Thanks Zoya!

The collection has five fun summer cream colors (Reagan, Lara, Shelby, Arizona & Wednesday) and Tracey, which is a little bit frosty… described as a “faded, yellow-toned pistachio green with delicate silvery shimmer.”

I love them all, but my favorite for my toes is Reagan, a deep cool fushia and I adore Wednesday for my fingernails – as featured in the picture I posted below! Isn’t it pretty?

Wednesday is super cool and unique. Zoya describes it best… it’s a “faded dirty medium turquoise with green undertone and an opaque cream finish. A very stylish shade with a funky yet easy to wear vintage look.” I love it!

Ok, so here’s the scoop on how to get free polish. Zoya just had a huge pinterest contest where everyone was asked to “re-pin” pictures of their favorite Zoya colors from the Beach & Surf Collection and they said they’d give away 3 “mini” bottles of the colors that got the most “likes!” Well, the results are in and they’re Zuza, Myrta and Kimber!

If you want them, here’s what you do:

1) Set up a Zoya Account, and if you do it through this ZOYA link, they’ll put a code for a “free polish” into your account. The reason you need to do this in advance is because the free bottles of polish go FAST. If you wait until the code goes “live” to set up your account, the free trios may all be gone! They’re limiting it to the first 2,000.

2) On June 11th, at 12:01am Eastern Time, the free code will become “live!” Enter Code ZPIN3 into the coupon code field in your cart and press “Apply Code.” The Mini Trio will automatically be added to your cart.

3) Complete Check-out Process, Review, Submit Order.

Free polish??!! Awesome! The downside? There’s still a shipping charge which is usually around $6.95. And some people are a bit bummed that all three colors selected are from the surf collection and none from the beach collection. But that’s ok. If these colors aren’t the ones you like, you’ll still find a code for a free bottle of polish in your account! So just use whichever free code you prefer!

Lastly, I just wanted to mention for those of you who don’t like to wear bright colors – here are my “Top 3″ every day colors from Zoya! Featured in the picture from left to right —>

Bevin: A dusty, medium sage green with teal tones and a creamy opaque finish. It reminds me of what my fingers should look like if I were enjoying brunch on the porch of a “shabby chic” inspired beach house.

Kelly: A rich gray shade with soft purple and blue undertones. I think it’s a little “edgy” without being goth.

Farah: a very neutral, opaque light khaki-beige with subtle sandy, greenish undertones and a cream finish. Very simple, yet sophisticated. Love the clean look!

Heads up though – polishes always look different on different skin tones. For example, I bought “Cho”, which is super similar to Farah and yet Cho looked like I was wearing a band-aid on every finger lol! I’ll never where that color again. But Farah, almost the same color, I ADORE and will wear throughout the year. So as I suggested in my last review, please make sure to “google” colors you’re interested in – and click “images.” You’ll find all sorts of swatches in every type of lighting, which will really help you make some sound color choices!

Hurray for vegan polish! Who wants fish scales on their fingernails?? Not ME! Have a colorful day!
