The conversion will include products available to 25,000 restaurants and eating establishments within K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and hospitals.

All MorningStar Farms items, from the spicy black bean burger to the breakfast sausage patties, will be 100 percent plant-based by 2021. I’m hoping those little corn dogs will get veganized, soon; I think they’ll be a big hit!
Roughly 50% of the portfolio has already been transitioned, which should increase to about 65% by the end of this year. This includes all chick’n nuggets and patties, and the meat lovers, veggie lovers, falafel and Tex-Mex burgers. Be sure to keep checking the ingredients until they’ve fully made the switch.
As I discuss in my book, The Vegan Way, the egg industry is horrifically cruel. Birds aren’t even covered under the Humane Slaughter Act… as though killing someone who doesn’t want to die could ever even BE “humane.” It’s inexcusable.
Once chickens can no longer lay eggs, their death is akin to medieval torture.
